Best WordPress Hosting for Your Website
Still searching for the best WordPress hosting provider for your blog or website? Don’t worry! You are at the right place.
Choosing a good hosting service for your WordPress site is one of the most difficult decisions. There are so many hosting companies out there and everyone claims to be the best.
Hence I created this page so that I can make life easy for you.
Here, you will find some of my recommended hosting services. Based on your budget, you may choose one for your site.
Best WordPress Hosting
I started my first website in the year 2011. Since then, I have created many sites for me and my clients. And in the process, I have tested different hosting providers – including shared, managed and VPS hosting services.
Based on my experiences, I can personally recommend two services to everyone – SiteGround and WPEngine. They are the two most popular WordPress hosting providers. If you are technically sound, you may go for Digital Ocean VPS as well.
Let’s talk about each one of them:
SiteGround
SiteGround is one of the most popular and affordable shared hosting services. It is one of the hosting providers which is recommended by WordPress. Not only that, two major CMS – Joomla and Drupal also recommend Siteground to its users.
WPHour is hosted on SiteGround and hence I can vouch for it. I have had no problem so far and I’m very happy with their service.
Let’s talk about some of the features of this web host.
Siteground servers have been built on the latest SSD hardware and offer advanced WordPress caching technology. It is based on NGINX reverse-proxy and is HTTP/2 & PHP7 compatible. Hence, you can expect your website to be fast and secure.
They offer FREE SSL with every plan. You also get free backups with all their plans. Cloudflare CDN can be activated easily from the cPanel. Moreover, their support team is very good and friendly. You won’t have to wait for long to solve your problem.
Still not convinced?
Wait! Let me show you something:
This was a poll conducted in July 2017 by a popular WordPress Hosting Group on Facebook. This group has more than 7000 members. They conducted this poll for finding out the most popular and affordable web hosting service.
A similar poll was conducted in 2016 as well:
As you can see, Siteground was popular in both the polls. Also, if you check some of their posts, you will find that most of the members recommend Siteground to others.
So, I can conclude that Siteground is one of the best web hosting services for WordPress websites.
WPEngine
WPEngine is a managed WordPress Hosting service. I have used it for one year and was very happy with their service and support. So if you want fast, secure & great support, then I highly recommend WPEngine.
The only problem with WPEngine is the price. Since it is a managed WordPress hosting provider, its pricing starts from 29 USD per month. And that is the only reason why I have placed it in the 2nd position – not many will be able to afford it if they are just starting out.
In case, you can afford their pricing, then you should go for WPEngine. You will definitely get better service compared to shared hosting services.
Digital Ocean
Digital Ocean is one of the best VPS hosting providers. It is built on the SSD cloud. It is also cheap compared to its competitors. You can expect your sites to be fast and secure.
However, there is a problem – you should have some basic technical knowledge to manage it.
BlueHost
One of the biggest advantages of Bluehost over other web hosts is it offers a FREE domain with all of their hosting plans. It is also one of the cheapest web hosts on the internet.
Bluehost is one of the few web hosts which is recommended by WordPress.org. It is also recommended by one of my favorite bloggers – Pat Flynn from Smart Passive Income.
Bluehost provides free SSL certificates with all its plans. They also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. So in case you don’t like their service, you can get our money back.
One thing I would like to tell here – Presently I am not using Bluehost for any of my sites. However, I have used their service for some of my sites last year. And honestly, I did not have any problem with their service.
